SUMMARY:National Road Safety Week 2023- The Students Learnt The Traffic Rules
DESCRIPTION:Road Safety Week for children is an initiative aimed at educating and raising awareness among children about road safety and the importance of following traffic rules and regulations. The aim is to prevent road accidents and promote safe and responsible behavior while using roads. \nTo propagate and advance the cause of safer roads for everyone\, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways observed Road Safety Week from January 11–17\, 2023\, as part of “Swachhata Pakhwada”. \n \nThe students Khaitan School Noida observed road safety week. The activites that the students enthusiastically participated in making posters\, creating slogans\, and taking a quiz to increase public awareness of traffic regulations. \n \nThe primary causes of traffic accidents were the topic of discussion. The teachers played the Road safety videos and and taught the students the road Signs and Traffic Rules. They received instructions on how to cross the road carefully as well as an introduction to road safety terms and safety signals. \nThe following themes were discussed after a presentation to the class: –  \n\nIn all circumstances\, cross the street only at a pedestrian crossing.\nIf there isn’t a pedestrian crossing\, look both ways before crossing.\nNever go through the space between the parked cars.\nNever ignore warnings\, and never run on a busy road.\nWhen walking on the road\, always utilise the sidewalks. Ask them to follow the fundamental guidelines and utilise the side routes whether the road is vacant or busy.\nWhen driving or riding in a moving vehicle\, such as a school bus\, observe the traffic laws.\nNever stick your heads or hands out the window.\n\nRoad safety Dos and Don’ts were also discussed. The kids participated in exercises including slogan writing\, quizzes\, and pledges to increase their awareness of road safety regulations. The aim of breaking the rules of road safety and the consequences of doing so were also outlined to the kids.  \n \nThe sensitization will make sure that the young kids are more careful when they are moving on the roads or travelling\, and they will grow up to be well-informed and law-abiding students in the future.

SUMMARY:Veer Bal Diwas 2022- A Tribute To Guru Gobind Ji's Sons
DESCRIPTION:Every year on December 26th\, Veer Baal Diwas is observed to commemorate the martyrdom of Baba Fateh Singh and Zorawar Singh\, the Sahibzade of 10th Guru Govind Singh Ji. It was announced by the ministry of Culture\,Govt of India. \nThe Khaitan School in Noida celebrated Veer Bal Diwas on Monday\, December 26\, 2022. All of the students were informed about this day through a digital exhibition and video that highlighted the bravery and courage of Guru Gobind Singh ji’s two younger sons. The Sikh guru Gobind Singh Ji had four sons Sahibzada Ajit Singh\, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh\, and the younger ones- Sahibzada Zorawar Singh\, and Sahibzada Fateh Singh. \n \nSahibzada Fateh Singh was six years old and Sahibzada Zorawar Singh was eight years old at the time of the Supreme Sacrifice. Elder siblings had heroically fought against the Mughals and given their lives as well. \nOur teachers gave the students in-depth information and emphasized the importance of their sacrifice for the nation.The sacrifices made by Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh were honoured and remembered by the students.They created the thank-you cards and vowed to meet life’s problems with bravery and heroism. \nAlong with the youngsters\, the teachers shared similar accounts of bravery and sacrifice from their own lives. The digital exhibition that was downloaded from the link provided in the circular was also displayed to advertise the event. \n \nThey were inspired that we should not forget the great sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and their sons. We will always be appreciative of them and adhere to their values.

SUMMARY:Class 2A Assembly With The Theme "Music"
DESCRIPTION:On December 27\, 2022\, the Class 2A students organised the Class Assembly with great enthusiasm. Teachers and students from all sections of Class 2 attended the assembly\, which was held in the school auditorium. \nThe assembly’s learning objectives included: \n\nTo provide kids a stage on which to display their abilities and skills.\nTo improve student’s’ performance and public speaking abilities.\nTo motivate kids to interact positively with their classmates.\nTo encourage the practise of reflecting on one’s knowledge from the classroom and current events.\nTo make it easier for kids to understand the month’s theme\, “Music.”\n\nThe Assembly’s primary activities and events included the following: \nMorning Prayer: Divita and Jenisha\, the comperes\, welcomed everyone to the meeting by inviting the choir to the morning prayer. \nNews: Aarohi provided the day’s news in order to keep the audience informed of the most recent events taking place throughout the world. The importance of following the news was emphasised to the students. \nEnglish language lessons: The students discussed what they had learned about music in their English classes. The kids informed the audience of this as well as how they had been practising “Picture Description” as part of their writing abilities. \nMusical Instruments: This was followed by a brief educational discussion on musical instruments\, during which one student spoke up and provided details about several instruments. This encouraged the idea of peer learning by assisting their classmates in learning about the same things. \nMathematical learnings: To discuss the lessons learned in math class\, a student described how they discovered several mathematical operations by asking relevant questions based on the “Remo the Rhino” narrative. \nPottery: Aaryan thought about how to build a cottage out of clay as he discussed the process of mastering pottery. \nYoga: A few students demonstrated certain asanas as Deetya spoke about the advantages of the practice. \n \nDance: A student spoke about several Indian dance styles. The students also learned about the classical and folk dance styles during this talk. \nIn order to wrap up the programme\, the students shared their opinions and reflections on the assembly. The National Anthem was performed to bring the event to a close. Overall\, the event went off smoothly and gave the students a feeling of accomplishment. They left feeling revitalised for the rest of the day.

SUMMARY:Class 1A Assembly With The Theme ‘Music’
DESCRIPTION:On November 28\, 2022\, the students from all sections of Class I attended the Assembly of Class I A\, which was held in the school auditorium in front of the Coordinator of Classes I and 2. \nThe following were the assembly’s learning goals: \n\nTo provide the students a chance to improve their presentation and public speaking abilities.\nTo foster a culture of productive teamwork and peer engagement among the students.\nTo give kids a platform on which to display their individual abilities and skills.\nTo inspire students to consider what they learned in class.\n\nThe assembly’s primary activities and proceedings were as follows: \n\nMorning Prayer: Before the assembly began\, the emcees welcomed the attendees and called on the class choir to lead the prayer\, “Sangachadwam Samvadadwam.” Aadvik Kandpal’s daily reflection on the theme was presented after the prayer.\n\n \n\nExercises: After learning the yoga movements Dhanurasana\, Vrikshasana\, and Bridge\, students performed them. These poses assist to strengthen the back\, maintain excellent posture\, and improve digestion and focus.\nClassroom lessons from the previous cycle: After this\, the students reflected on and shared what they had learned in many academic and co-curricular disciplines;\n\n            English Poem: The students comfortably discussed sentence structure and understanding while keeping in mind the norms of sentence formation in an English poem. \nA sentence should always begin with a capital letter \nEnd with a full stop\, and \nHave one finger’s worth of space between each word. \n           Hindi Kavita: “Manmoji Rail”  \nThe Hindi Kavita was recited by the class in unison and with enthusiasm. All of the audience members there enjoyed their presentation. \n \n           Math: The students’ next presentation was a thorough explanation of the idea of “Backward movement on the ENL” with the aid of props and audience-engaging suggestions. \nAll of the students gained from the experience. \n           Q&A session: After that\, there was a question-and-answer session when the audience asked the participants a few questions like- What is the meaning of the theme? Why do we adhere to rules for sentence construction? The fact that the participants themselves raised these concerns served to boost the kids’ sense of unity and confidence. \nThe national anthem was performed to bring the ceremony to a close. The event was a success\, and both the audience and the participants felt a sense of accomplishment. \nHosting the assembly was a special experience for the class IA kids.

SUMMARY:Class 5F Assembly Showcase
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, January 17\, 2023\, the assembly for class VF was held in the auditorium. Everyone in the class took part in it with fervor and excitement.  \nThe showcase was created with the intention of fostering participants’ confidence and oratory and leadership skills. The students collaborated to carry out their idea. The group prayed aloud to the God to ask for blessings and to thank him for a fresh day. \n \nThey engaged in well-being-promoting activities like yoga. The news\, weather report\, thought of the day\, and word of the day were then provided by four kids.  \nA skit titled “DECIMALS KI KATHA DHANSUKH RAM KI VYATHA” followed it. The discussion about the digestive system and good eating practises was next on the agenda. \nThe national anthem\, which was accompanied by a student playing the flute\, brought the performance to a close. They had a stage and a platform to demonstrate their skills and acquire confidence in themselves during the offline assembly.
