The Middle School Social Science Department of The Khaitan School, Noida organized an insightful Symposium – Walk the Talk for students of Grades VI-VIII on December 27, 2024. This engaging academic event was a part of the annual teaching-learning activities and aimed to encourage students to explore, analyze, and discuss significant historical, social, and cultural topics.

A Platform for Young Orators
A panel of 11 talented, confident, and eloquent speakers—selected through a screening process via video submissions—shared their perspectives on the following themes:
🔹 Grade VI – Revisiting the Legacy of the Ancient Silk Route
🔹 Grade VII – Globalization and Cultural Identity
🔹 Grade VIII – Youth Activism and Social Change

These young participants delved deep into their respective topics, presenting thought-provoking discussions, insightful research, and interactive sessions. Their engaging presentations helped fellow students develop a holistic understanding of diverse issues—from the impact of the Ancient Silk Route on trade and culture, to the influence of globalization on local identities, and the role of youth activism in shaping societies.

The event was graced by Ms. Preeti Gambhir, Curriculum Coordinator, who served as the esteemed judge for the symposium. Principal Mr. Sanjeev P. Paruvanani, Ms. Preeti Gambhir, and Mr. Sachin Sharma inspired the students with their encouraging words, emphasizing the importance of research, confidence, and public speaking skills. The panel also provided constructive feedback, helping participants refine their skills for future endeavors.
