School Doctor (Junior wing Clinic)

Overview – The Khaitan School, Noida is looking for a qualified Doctor to head the clinic operations of the Junior Wing of the School with the assistance of a Nurse and female support staff.

Job Description -The School Doctor will be responsible for providing primary medical care, first aid, and health guidance to students of the Junior Wing. The role includes attending to day-to-day cases of illness and minor injuries, coordinating with parents, maintaining medical records, managing annual health check-ups, and ensuring adherence to CBSE and school health guidelines.

1. Attend to daily cases of sickness, minor injuries, and medical complaints of students.
2. Perform examination, provide appropriate treatment/first aid, and administer prescribed medications in line with medical protocols.
3. Observe students for symptoms and recommend rest, isolation, or further evaluation as needed.
4. Identify and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
5. Assess severity and arrange immediate referral to hospital/medical specialists when required.
6. Inform and consult parents/guardians in cases where the student needs to be sent home due to illness or injury.
7. Maintain supportive communication while ensuring confidentiality of student health information.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all students.
9. Document daily clinic visits, treatments provided, and follow-up actions.
10. Ensure secure storage and privacy of health records in compliance with school policy.
11. Plan and coordinate annual health assessments for all Junior Wing students.
12. Prepare health reports for students and share summaries with parents and school administration.

Candidate Profile –

1. Should hold an MBBS Degree
2. Specialization in Paedeatrics will be an added advantage.
3. Valid Registration from Medical Council
