The Khaitan School, Noida, recently hosted an exhilarating Interschool Under-14 Football Tournament on 7th, 8th, and 11th August 2025, where young footballers from across the city showcased their skills, determination, and sporting spirit over three action-packed days.
The tournament kicked off with electrifying matches as Somerville, VBPS, Lotus Valley, and The Khaitan School stormed into the semi-finals. Day 2 delivered nail-biting encounters—Somerville clinched a 5–4 victory over VBPS in penalties after a gripping 1–1 draw, while The Khaitan School sealed a commanding 2–0 win against Lotus Valley.
The battle for third place witnessed Vishwa Bharti Public School holding their nerve in a tense penalty shootout to edge past Lotus Valley after a goalless draw.
The grand finale was a true spectacle of youth football, filled with roaring cheers, stunning goals, and relentless energy. Somerville emerged as champions, edging past hosts The Khaitan School in a 3–2 thriller that kept the audience on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.
Individual brilliance was also celebrated, with Ruben Gigi (Somerville) being named Best Player and Devansh Bindal (Somerville) earning the title of Best Goalkeeper.
