On 22nd August 2025, The Khaitan School, Noida organized a career counselling workshop for students of Class X to provide them with effective guidance on career planning, time management, and emerging educational and professional opportunities. The session was conducted by Mr. Rajesh Mishra, a reputed career counsellor from the Temple of Learning, who has years of experience in mentoring young minds.
The primary objective of the workshop was to help students explore the vast spectrum of career options available in today’s dynamic landscape and develop a strategic approach towards higher education and professional growth.

Mr. Mishra began the session by stressing the significance of time management in achieving academic and career goals. He guided students on prioritizing tasks, maintaining discipline, and striking a balance between academics and extracurricular pursuits—an essential formula for long-term success.
The workshop explored two broad domains of career opportunities:
Internet-Based Careers: Mr. Mishra highlighted the rise of digital professions such as content creation, digital marketing, UI/UX design, freelancing, software development, and e-commerce entrepreneurship. He emphasized how technology has unlocked new avenues for flexible and global career opportunities.
Academic-Based Careers: For students inclined towards traditional paths, he discussed prestigious options in engineering, medicine, law, teaching, research, and public services, underscoring the importance of aligning personal strengths and interests with career choices.

A particularly engaging segment compared higher education opportunities in India and abroad.
In India, Mr. Mishra pointed to premier institutions like IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, NLUs, and central universities, along with the role of competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, CLAT, and UPSC.
For overseas education, he explained the processes involving SAT, GRE, TOEFL/IELTS, as well as the importance of scholarships and selecting the right course and university based on financial and personal goals.

The workshop concluded with a lively Q&A session, where students enthusiastically engaged with Mr. Mishra, clarifying their doubts and gaining personalized insights into their aspirations.
Overall, the workshop proved to be highly informative and motivational, equipping students with practical tools, clarity, and confidence to make well-informed career decisions. It served as a stepping stone for Class X students to envision a purposeful and future-ready academic journey.
