The students of Class 3C at The Khaitan School, Noida, conducted a vibrant and inspiring assembly on the theme “National Sports Day” in the school auditorium. The event celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship, fitness, and teamwork, reflecting the values that sports instill in young learners.
The programme began with a soulful prayer, setting a serene and focused tone for the morning. This was followed by a dynamic Taekwondo demonstration by the students of Class 3D, showcasing strength, balance, and discipline. The highlight of the assembly was an informative and lively presentation by the students of Class 3C on Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player in whose honour National Sports Day is celebrated every year.
Krishika and Saivi served as the eloquent hosts of the event, guiding the audience through each segment with confidence and charm. An interactive discussion on the life skills learned through sports, such as teamwork, leadership, and resilience, added depth and engagement to the programme. The event concluded with a graceful yoga performance, bringing a sense of calm and mindfulness to the celebration.
