To promote experiential learning and encourage curiosity beyond classroom walls, The Khaitan School, Noida organized an overnight sky observation trip to Astroport, a renowned dark sky observation site near Sariska National Park, from 30th to 31st October 2025. The visit, held at Dhawala Resort, Sariska, offered students an extraordinary opportunity to combine learning with adventure under the starlit sky.


The journey was filled with fun and engaging experiences, beginning with a serene visit to the Siliserh Lake, followed by a series of interactive and educational sessions. Students explored the wonders of space through hands-on activities such as building a CubeSat, team-building exercises, astrophotography, and a nature walk. These sessions not only deepened their understanding of astronomy but also encouraged critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.


During the astrophotography session, students learned how to use their mobile cameras effectively to capture stunning images of the night sky while understanding different settings and techniques. The Astronomy team conducted the sessions in a highly informative and interactive manner, spreading them over four to five hours of insightful engagement.


The trip successfully blended learning with enjoyment, allowing students to test their knowledge, explore new concepts, and learn through observation and discovery. Participating with immense enthusiasm and curiosity, students returned with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the mysteries of the universe.
