The students of Class 3D at The Khaitan School, Noida, presented a captivating and meaningful assembly on 25th September 2025 in the School Auditorium. Celebrating the dual spirit of Gandhi Jayanti and Durga Puja, the programme beautifully blended patriotism, cultural pride, and festive joy.
The assembly began with a warm introduction by the eloquent orators Khyati Srivastava and Vedarth Goel, who presented the theme of the day—The Dandi March, one of the most significant events in India’s freedom struggle.
Students Riddhi, Kairav, Kiara, and Kiaan further explained the historic event, highlighting Mahatma Gandhi’s leadership, the importance of the salt movement, and its impact on India’s fight for independence. This was followed by a powerful enactment of the Dandi March, performed by the students with sincerity and enthusiasm, bringing history to life on stage.
The emotional core of the assembly was the soulful rendition of Gandhiji’s iconic bhajans—“Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” and “Sabarmati Ke Sant”. Jaitik, playing the tunes on the casio, accompanied by the entire class singing in unison, created an atmosphere filled with peace, devotion, and reverence, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
The programme concluded with a vibrant Dandiya Dance performance, celebrating the joyous spirit of Durga Puja. The colourful costumes, rhythmic movements, and energetic beats filled the auditorium with festive cheer and marked a perfect end to the assembly.
The Class 3D assembly was appreciated by teachers and students alike for its thoughtful theme, confident performances, and perfect blend of cultural and historical learning.
