The students of Class IX from The Khaitan School had the opportunity to attend an engaging theatre performance titled “Threads of Time – The Story of Us” on 5th May 2026 (Tuesday) at Kamani Auditorium, Mandi House. The play, presented by History Diaries, offered students a fascinating blend of history, imagination, and philosophical reflection.
The storyline revolved around the concept of time transition and explored the evolution of human civilization through a creative and thought-provoking narrative. The play depicted a group of technologically advanced humans who developed the ability to travel back in time. Their journey led them to the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, where they closely observed the remarkable town planning, architectural brilliance, and advanced drainage systems of that era.
Through powerful performances and innovative storytelling, the production highlighted the sophistication and ingenuity of ancient societies while drawing meaningful parallels with modern technological advancements. The play encouraged students to appreciate the achievements of early civilizations and reflect on humanity’s continuous journey of growth and development.
