Four students, 175+ teams, and a competition that demanded knowledge far beyond textbooks. The Khaitan School, Noida delivered a memorable performance at the prestigious MOD Quiz 2026, hosted by Modern School, Vasant Vihar, Delhi, on 31 July and 1 August 2026.
The School’s four-member team comprising Tanmay Dipankar (XII-B), Nirav Rastogi (XII-B), Anshuman Baghel (X-G), and Ayush Gambhir (X-A) emerged as the First Runner-Up, securing the Overall Trophy in the competition’s grand finale.

The scale of the achievement made the result particularly noteworthy. With more than 175 teams competing, only 45 teams progressed to the semifinals. The field was narrowed further to just eight teams for the final, with The Khaitan School ultimately finishing as the First Runner-Up among the eight finalists.
The quiz presented participants with a wide-ranging test of knowledge, featuring challenging rounds on current affairs, science, history, literature, sports, entertainment, and visual identification. Each round demanded not only extensive knowledge but also the ability to think quickly, identify patterns, make decisions under pressure, and work seamlessly as a team.

For the Khaitan team, the competition was as much about learning as it was about winning. Interacting with quiz teams from different schools gave the students an opportunity to observe diverse approaches to problem-solving and broaden their perspectives beyond the competition itself.
Reaching the grand finale and securing the First Runner-Up position was a testament to the team’s preparation, composure, and collective effort. The experience also strengthened their confidence and left them motivated to take on even more challenging quiz platforms in the future.
The Overall Trophy brought home from MOD Quiz 2026 stands as a proud recognition of the team’s performance and of four young minds who proved that curiosity, teamwork, and the ability to think on one’s feet can take knowledge a long way.
