“Small Actions, Big Difference: Cleanliness” was the inspiring thought behind a meaningful assembly presented by the students of Class 5-F on 6th August 2026 at the School Amphitheatre. The assembly focused on the importance of civic sense and encouraged students to understand how simple, responsible actions can create a positive impact on society.
The programme began with a serene prayer, setting a calm and positive tone for the morning. This was followed by a thoughtful speech that highlighted the importance of civic sense in our daily lives. The students emphasized that being responsible citizens is not about making grand gestures, but about practising discipline, kindness and consideration through our everyday actions.
The highlight of the assembly was a well-prepared and engaging skit, which brought various aspects of civic responsibility to life. Through relatable situations, the students highlighted important practices such as keeping our surroundings clean, standing in queues, following traffic rules, respecting public property, helping others, being polite, saving water and keeping noise levels low. The presentation effectively demonstrated how these small habits contribute to a cleaner, safer and more harmonious society.
Adding warmth and emotion to the programme was a melodious rendition of “Heal the World”, which beautifully conveyed the message of empathy, compassion and collective responsibility. The song reminded everyone that creating a better world begins with caring for one another and making thoughtful choices in our everyday lives.
The assembly concluded with all the students taking the “Civic Sense – Begin with Me” Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to becoming disciplined, responsible and considerate citizens. The pledge served as a powerful reminder that positive change begins with each individual.
