The Khaitan School, Noida hosted its much-anticipated Middle School Inter-House Spell Bee Competition on 14 August 2026, providing students with an exciting platform to showcase their vocabulary, spelling accuracy, quick thinking and confidence. The engaging Spell Bee Competition 2026 brought together enthusiastic participants from the four houses—Meghalaya, Shiwalik, Nilgiri and Aravali.
Celebrating Vocabulary, Language Skills and Confidence
The competition aimed to strengthen students’ English language skills, vocabulary and spelling abilities, while also encouraging them to develop presence of mind and confidence in a competitive environment.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed judge, Ms. Juhi Singh, Teacher from the Senior Wing, and HOMS Mr. Sachin Sharma, whose presence and encouragement motivated the participants.
The students competed through a series of challenging and engaging rounds, including rapid-fire spelling, word origins and sentence usage. Each round tested their knowledge of words, spelling accuracy, vocabulary and ability to think quickly under pressure. The enthusiastic participation and spirited performances kept the audience engaged throughout the competition.
Four Houses, One Spirit of Learning
Students from Meghalaya, Shiwalik, Nilgiri and Aravali Houses demonstrated commendable preparation, teamwork and linguistic skills. The competition remained closely contested, with all the houses putting forth impressive performances.
At the conclusion of the competition, Aravali House emerged as the winner, while Meghalaya and Nilgiri Houses followed closely. The results reflected the students’ hard work and preparation, while the friendly competition showcased the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship and collaborative learning.
Encouraging a Love for Language and Reading
Addressing the students, Ms. Juhi Singh appreciated their dedication and participation. She reminded them that school competitions are not simply about winning but also about learning from every experience, building confidence and continuously improving.
Ms. Inderjeet Kaur (SL) further motivated the students to develop a lasting love for language, reading and vocabulary, encouraging them to continue exploring new words and strengthening their communication skills.

The Middle School Inter-House Spell Bee Competition concluded with a vote of thanks and enthusiastic applause for all the participants.
