The Intra-Class Sanskrit Prose Reading Activity was conducted with great enthusiasm on 26th September 2025, engaging every student from the Sanskrit sections in a joyful celebration of the ancient language.
To begin with, students were provided with handouts containing short, moral-based Sanskrit stories. They were given 5–10 minutes to familiarize themselves with the text before taking turns to read aloud. Each participant showcased their reading skills, focusing on correct pronunciation, clarity, and expressive delivery.
The primary objective of the activity was to foster appreciation for the beauty of Sanskrit, while building confidence and fluency among students. It also aimed to inculcate the habit of regular Sanskrit story reading, helping students connect with the moral and cultural richness of the language.
Teachers and peers applauded the best readers for their accuracy, expression, and effort. The classroom was filled with enthusiasm and a renewed sense of pride in one of the world’s oldest and most revered languages.
The activity not only strengthened students’ linguistic skills but also reminded them that Sanskrit, with its timeless wisdom, continues to inspire and enrich minds even today.
