Science Week was आयोजित with great enthusiasm in the school from 24th to 27th February 2026, witnessing active participation from the students of Grades I and II. The week was thoughtfully planned with a range of engaging and educational activities aimed at nurturing observation skills, analytical thinking, environmental awareness, and scientific curiosity among young learners.
As part of the celebrations, the Grade I students visited the National Zoological Park on 25th February 2026. The visit provided them with an exciting opportunity to observe animals in their natural habitats. A key highlight was identifying the tiger and understanding its role as a predator in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. This real-life exposure helped students connect classroom learning with the natural world around them.
The Grade II students explored the fascinating world of railways through a visit to the National Rail Museum on 24th February 2026. They learned about the history and evolution of rail transport in India, gaining insights into how science and technology have shaped modern transportation. An engaging picture-based quiz further enhanced their observation skills and reinforced their learning in an interactive manner.
In addition to these visits, students participated in simple hands-on experiments that encouraged them to predict outcomes, think logically, and actively engage in the learning process. These activities not only made learning enjoyable but also instilled a spirit of inquiry and exploration.
The week concluded successfully, leaving students inspired and curious. The thoughtfully curated activities fostered experiential learning and helped develop a scientific temperament, making Science Week a truly meaningful and memorable experience for all.
