A thoughtfully curated workshop titled “Enhancing Art Learning Through Our Structured Curriculum” was successfully आयोजित on 25th April 2026 for parents of Grades VI, VII, and VIII. The session was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Sonia Khurana Dua and Mr. Triptamay Dutta, aiming to provide parents with deeper insight into the school’s dynamic Visual Art programme.

The workshop offered a comprehensive overview of the structured Art and Pottery curriculum, highlighting its pivotal role in fostering creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression among students. Parents were introduced to the pedagogical framework, which emphasizes conceptual understanding and project-based learning tailored to suit individual student capacities.

A key segment of the session showcased an impressive collection of students’ artwork, reflecting their learning journey, originality, and skill development. This display not only demonstrated the effectiveness of the curriculum but also illustrated how art is integrated as a meaningful and enriching learning experience.

The highlight of the workshop was the engaging hands-on activities designed specifically for parents. During the Art session, parents enthusiastically created intricate paper-cut flowers, exploring techniques that their children regularly practice. Simultaneously, the Pottery session provided an immersive experience where parents experimented with mural creation and wheel-based pottery. These activities were met with great enthusiasm and appreciation, allowing parents to connect with the learning process firsthand.

The workshop received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with parents expressing admiration for the depth and structure of the curriculum. Many showed keen interest in participating in future initiatives such as exhibitions and interactive workshops.

Overall, the session proved to be a meaningful platform for strengthening the school-home partnership. It reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to delivering a holistic and enriching art education, nurturing not only artistic skills but also a lifelong appreciation for creativity.
