The much-anticipated Inter-School Competition hosted by Invictus International School, Amritsar, on 11 August 2026 witnessed an exceptional display of talent, creativity, teamwork, and determination. With more than 75 schools from across India participating, the competition provided students with a prestigious platform to showcase their entrepreneurial thinking and innovative ideas.
Representing The Khaitan School, a team of four talented students participated with great enthusiasm and brought home the Gold Medal in the category of Best Potential Idea at the Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 competition.
A Journey of Learning and Innovation
The two-day event offered participants valuable opportunities to learn, collaborate, and refine their entrepreneurial ideas.
The first day featured three high-level workshops designed to empower students and familiarise them with the essential nuances of developing and presenting an effective business pitch. The workshops helped participants understand the importance of identifying a meaningful problem, developing an innovative solution, and communicating a business idea convincingly.
The second day commenced with a ceremonial Flag March, in which representatives from each participating school proudly carried their respective school flags. Representing The Khaitan School as its flag bearer was Rijul of XII F. The Flag March was followed by the much-awaited presentations, where teams presented their ideas before an esteemed panel of judges.
Adding further significance to the event, the chief jury included Mr Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt and a well-known entrepreneur and panelist on Shark Tank India.
An Innovative Idea for Women’s Safety
The Khaitan School team presented an innovative business idea focused on women’s safety. The students proposed a smart safety device designed to help women feel safer while travelling or moving around independently.
The proposed device would be connected to a mobile application and designed to identify potentially dangerous or unusual situations. In the event of a threat, emergency, or potentially unsafe situation, the device would immediately send an alert to the mobile phones of the woman’s parents or other trusted contacts. This would allow them to become aware of the situation quickly and take appropriate action or seek assistance.
The idea demonstrated the students’ ability to combine technology, innovation, and social responsibility to address a real-world concern.
Gold Medal for Excellence
After meticulous planning, extensive preparation, and a remarkable execution, the team comprising Aryan Gupta (XI D), Advaita Mathur (XI A), Aayushi (XI B), and Prisha Anand (XI C) emerged victorious, securing the Gold Medal for Best Potential Idea.
The team worked under the able guidance of Ms Tanu Chhabra, HOD Commerce, whose mentorship and support played an important role in shaping and strengthening their entrepreneurial vision.
The achievement is a proud moment for The Khaitan School and reflects the students’ creativity, collaborative spirit, confidence, and determination to develop solutions to meaningful challenges. Their success at a national-level platform stands as an inspiring example of how young minds can use entrepreneurship and technology to create ideas with a positive social impact.
