On Saturday, 18th April 2026, The Khaitan School successfully conducted an engaging and insightful Math Workshop under its much-appreciated “Coffee at School” initiative. Designed specifically for parents of Grades 3 to 5, the session offered a meaningful glimpse into the school’s experiential and concept-driven approach to teaching Mathematics.
Rooted in the philosophy, “Teach less memorization, inspire more exploration,” the workshop emphasized the importance of nurturing curiosity, logical thinking, and deep conceptual understanding among young learners. It aimed to shift perspectives from traditional rote learning to a more engaging, inquiry-based model of education.
The session was thoughtfully conducted by the Mathematics Team on the theme “Transforming Learning from Rote to Reason.” Through a well-structured and interactive format, parents were introduced to the methodologies used in classrooms, where mathematical concepts are built through activity-based learning, real-life applications, and logical reasoning.
