The Khaitan School resonated with pride, nostalgia, and a deep sense of unity as it celebrated Founder’s Day on 10th April in the school auditorium. Marked by grandeur and heartfelt reverence, the occasion brought together the spirit of the entire Khaitan community. While selected sections were physically present in the auditorium, the rest of the students joined the celebration through live online streaming, ensuring that every Khaitanian became a part of this momentous event.
The programme began with the gracious welcome of the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Gangesh Khaitan, along with the Heads of the School. This was followed by a serene prayer that set a reflective tone for the day. The ceremonial lamp lighting, accompanied by pushpanjali, symbolized the dispelling of darkness through knowledge and paid homage to the visionary founders whose ideals continue to guide the institution.
The cultural segment unfolded with elegance and enthusiasm. The Primary Wing captivated the audience with a spirited dance performance centered on the theme of courage, beautifully portraying resilience and determination. This was followed by an uplifting presentation by the Western Music Choir, whose melodious and inspirational song struck a deep emotional chord with everyone present.
A defining moment of the celebration was the address by the Chairman. His words were both reflective and motivating as he fondly remembered the founders, Maaji and Babuji, and urged students to carry forward their legacy with dedication, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose. His speech inspired the audience, reinforcing a deep connection to the school’s values and heritage.
The celebration reached its crescendo with the school song, “Hum Hain Khaitanians.” In a truly heartwarming and unifying moment, the song echoed not only within the auditorium but also across classrooms where students, connected virtually, stood and sang in unison. The entire school seemed to come alive with a shared spirit, as voices blended together in a powerful expression of pride and belonging.
The Founder’s Day celebration was more than just an event—it was a poignant reminder of the school’s rich legacy and the enduring values it upholds. It was a day that beautifully captured the essence of being a Khaitanian, inspiring every student to cherish the past while striving toward a brighter future.
