The Social Science Department of The Khaitan School, Noida successfully organized the Inter-House Social Science Competition on 14th October 2025 in the Audio-Visual Room, featuring enthusiastic participation from students of Classes IX and XI. The event was centered around the theme “Incredible India – Heart and Soul”, celebrating the nation’s rich cultural and geographical diversity.
Each house selected an Indian state associated with its respective mountain range — Aravalli, Meghalaya, Nilgiri, or Shiwalik — and presented its unique features through engaging audio-visual presentations. The participants delved into the history, culture, lifestyle, traditions, and geography of their chosen regions, bringing alive the vibrant essence of India.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Tilak Raj, President of RWA, Sector 40, Noida, who appreciated the school’s consistent efforts toward nurturing well-rounded individuals. Mr. Sajeev P. Purvanani, Principal, addressed the gathering and lauded the students’ enthusiasm, innovation, and dedication to learning and service. The event was also graced by Ms. Anjana Vashishtha (HOSS) and Mr. Sachin Sharma (HOMS).
The event was judged by Ms. Preeti Gambhir, who praised the students for their meticulous research, creativity, and confident presentations.

The competition proved to be a rich learning experience, fostering a sense of pride and appreciation for India’s diversity. It also encouraged teamwork, research skills, and creative expression, aligning perfectly with the school’s vision of holistic learning through experiential activities.
