For two days, the conference rooms at Indraprastha Global School, Noida became a forum for debate, diplomacy, negotiation, and global perspectives as students from The Khaitan School participated in CRESCERE MUN 2026, an inter-school Model United Nations conference held on 24 and 25 July 2026.
Representing the School, a delegation of six students stepped into the roles of international delegates, engaging with complex global issues and experiencing first-hand the workings of a Model United Nations conference. The event offered them a platform to articulate their viewpoints, negotiate with fellow delegates, and find common ground through informed discussion.
The School’s participation culminated in two notable individual recognitions.
Sivangi Sahoo of Class XI-H, representing the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), received a Special Mention along with a medal and certificate. Yahya Razi of Class X-H, participating in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), earned a High Commendation, along with an individual trophy and certificate.
These recognitions reflected the students’ ability to engage confidently with challenging subjects while demonstrating diplomacy, research, effective communication, and persuasive argumentation.
Beyond the accolades, the conference proved to be a valuable learning experience. Participation in CRESCERE MUN enabled the students to understand the functioning of international forums while developing essential skills such as critical thinking, public speaking, negotiation, diplomacy, collaboration, and decision-making.
For the students, the experience extended well beyond committee sessions and formal debates. It gave them the opportunity to listen to contrasting perspectives, respond thoughtfully under pressure, build arguments, and appreciate the importance of dialogue in addressing complex global challenges.
The trophies, medals, and certificates added a proud dimension to an already enriching experience. More importantly, the students returned with greater confidence, new perspectives, and a renewed enthusiasm to participate in similar platforms.
CRESCERE MUN 2026 thus became more than a competition for the young delegates from The Khaitan School—it was an opportunity to step into the world of diplomacy, think beyond familiar perspectives, and discover their own voices as emerging global citizens.
